Privacy policy
What data we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you can control it.
Last updated:
This notice covers the website www.emly.am (in Armenian, Russian and English). It does not cover the emly app: signing up, signing in, business booking pages and everything inside an emly account are covered by the app’s own privacy policy and terms of service (currently in Armenian and Russian).
Who is responsible
The website is operated by RetentionForce, Inc., a Delaware (USA) corporation, which decides how data from this site is used (“we”). RetentionForce, Inc. holds all rights to emly and is also the controller of emly app data.
RetentionForce AM LLC distributes and sells RetentionForce, Inc.’s service in Armenia. It is not the controller of data from this site or the app.

What we collect and why
When you open any page. Your browser sends technical data that every website receives: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the time and the page you came from. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, uses it to deliver the page and to protect the site from attacks. We need this to run the site.
Visit statistics without cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, referring sites, country, browser type and page speed. It does not store or read anything on your device and does not build a profile of you. We use it to see which pages work. It is always on.
Google Analytics, only if you allow “Analytics”. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies and records the pages you view, the buttons you click (for example “Start free” or “Write to us”) and your approximate location and device. We use it to understand how visitors use the site and which pages lead to sign-ups. We have switched off Google’s advertising features unless you also allow “Marketing”.
Meta Pixel, only if you allow “Marketing”. The Meta Pixel tells Meta (Facebook, Instagram) that a browser visited our pages or clicked “Start free” or “Write to us”. We use it to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who visited the site. Automatic collection of button text and page details is switched off.
When you contact us. If you call, email or write to us via WhatsApp, we receive what you send: usually your name, phone number or email, and your message. We use it to answer you and, if you ask, to set up emly for your business. WhatsApp messages also pass through WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms.
Links to the app. “Start free” links carry a short code for the button you used (for example am-hy-home-hero) and, if you arrived from a campaign link, its source and campaign tags. This tells us which page led to a sign-up. The code contains nothing about you.
When you book a demo. This site has one form: the demo request. It is described in the next section. Accounts are created in the app.
Demo requests
The Book a demo page (www.emly.am/demo/) has a short form for businesses that want us to show them emly.
What you send. Your name, business name and phone number, the number of specialists (a range, for example 5–9), the system you use now (Altegio, Sonline, Excel or a notebook, another system, or none), your city and the language you want us to speak. The form also sends two things you don’t type: whether you asked for a demo or for help moving from another system, and which part of the site you came from.
Why we use it. To contact you, arrange the demo and answer your questions. If your team is small, we may send you information via WhatsApp instead of arranging a call. We don’t use these details for newsletters or ads, and we don’t add you to a mailing list.
Where it goes. The form goes to our server on this site (a Cloudflare Worker). The server emails your request to hello@emly.co, our mailbox on Google Workspace (Gmail), and posts an alert in our team’s private chat (WhatsApp or Telegram). The website itself doesn’t keep a copy.
Spam check. The demo page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out. It loads only on that page. It checks signals from your browser and device, such as your IP address, browser type and how the page is used, to tell people from bots. The form also has a hidden field that only bots fill in.
Statistics. Your answer about your current system never goes to analytics. If you allowed “Analytics”, Google Analytics records only that a request was sent, whether it was for a demo or a move, and the team-size range. Your name, business name, phone number and city are never sent to analytics.
Legal grounds
- Delivering and protecting the site, cookieless statistics and answering your messages: our legitimate interest in running the site and replying to you, or steps you ask for before a contract.
- Demo requests: steps you ask for before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to your request.
- The Turnstile spam check: our legitimate interest in protecting the form from bots and spam.
- Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel: your consent, given in the cookie settings. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Keeping records the law requires: legal obligation.
Who receives the data
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): hosting, security and cookieless statistics, for every visit. On the demo page, also the form server and the Turnstile spam check.
- Google Workspace (Gmail), our email provider: delivers demo requests and your emails to our mailbox and stores them there.
- WhatsApp (Meta) and Telegram, the messaging services our team uses: carry the alert about each new demo request, for our team only, under their own terms.
- Google LLC (USA): Google Analytics, only with “Analytics” consent.
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. and Meta Platforms, Inc. (Ireland, USA): Meta Pixel, only with “Marketing” consent. Meta also uses this data for its own purposes under its own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp (Meta), email and phone providers: when you contact us through them.
- Public authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell personal data.
Transfers outside Armenia
Cloudflare, Google and Meta store and use data in the USA and other countries. Their protection may differ from Armenian law. Transfers to Google and Meta happen only after you consent in the cookie settings. For visitors from the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland, these providers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Demo requests are handled by Cloudflare, Google Workspace, WhatsApp and Telegram. They may store and process them in the USA and other countries.
How long we keep it
- Consent choice: 12 months in your browser, then we ask again.
- Google Analytics: cookies for up to 13 months; event data for up to 14 months.
- Meta Pixel: cookies for up to 90 days; Meta keeps data under its own policy.
- Messages to us: as long as needed to handle your request, and no longer than 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer (then the app’s policy applies).
- Demo requests (the email and the team alert): if you don’t become a customer, we delete them within 12 months after our last contact. If you become a customer, the app’s policy applies.
- Cloudflare security logs and Turnstile checks: for a short period set by Cloudflare.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop or limit its use. You can ask us to delete a demo request at any time, even before we contact you. You can withdraw consent at any time in Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing doesn’t affect what happened before.
Write to support@emly.co or hello@emly.co. If your emly plan has ended and the account is paused, write to support@emly.co to get your data. We may ask you to confirm who you are. We answer within the time the law sets.
If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Browser privacy signals
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we treat it as “Reject all”: the cookie banner doesn’t open and Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel don’t load. You can still turn them on yourself in Cookie settings.
Children
This site is for businesses. It isn’t meant for children, and we don’t knowingly collect data about them.
Changes
We will update this notice when our site or the law changes, and change the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your data, we will say so on the site.
