How does the end-of-day cash-up work?
In the morning you open the drawer with an opening balance. Cash in and out is recorded through the day; at closing the actual amount is counted and any difference is flagged. The report goes by email to the people you give that permission.
How is each barber's commission calculated?
You set rates for services and retail sales, on the price before or after discount. emly works out the commission on every sale, keeps each barber's running balance and records the payouts.
We have several branches. Does emly work for a chain?
Yes. All your branches sit in one account. A barber works at one branch during the day and can work at another the next. Permissions and stock are set per branch. Chains and 20+ barbers: write to us.
If a barber leaves, will they take our clients?
The client list stays with the barbershop. Numbers can be hidden, each barber can see only their own clients if you choose, and only you grant the right to export.
How do fiscal receipts work at the desk?
When a client pays at the desk, the receipt prints on your fiscal printer and the sale shows up in the day's report straight away. For online payments, the eHDM (the Armenian e-receipt) is issued automatically.
How does the move work, and do we keep our history?
On request, we import the available data from a notebook, Excel or another system. Visit history, services, team and stock depend on the source; we agree what can be moved before the import. We train your barbers free: on site in Yerevan, by video call in other cities. You can run both systems for a week before you switch. How the move works
