Try a question
From a question to the next step
You already ask ChatGPT or Claude about everything else. Now the answer can come with your own figures, and the next step can happen in the same conversation.
Ask in your own words
“How was Saturday?”, “Who’s due back?”, “Is Anna free on Friday?” No reports to open, no filters to build.
emly provides the figures
The assistant reads from the same reports, calendar and client list you see in emly, within the permissions you allowed.
Take the next step
Tag a group of clients, prepare a new booking or move one. You stay in charge of what gets saved.
emly provides the figures; ChatGPT or Claude chooses what to read and writes the answer. Check the figures that matter in emly before you act on them.

Connect emly to ChatGPT or Claude
You need an emly owner account with access to the whole business. There are no keys to copy and no client ID or secret to enter. ChatGPT and Claude introduce themselves, and you sign in to emly as usual.
The connection address

ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT on the web, open Plugins (chatgpt.com/plugins), select +, then “Add custom MCP server”.
- Name it emly and paste the address under Server URL.
- Choose OAuth for authentication. Leave the client ID and secret empty.
- Read the warning, continue, select “Create as a plugin” and install it.
- In a chat, type @ and pick emly.
OpenAI changes these menus from time to time, and your plan or workspace settings decide whether you can add a custom server. If your screen looks different, follow OpenAI’s guide.
Claude
- In Claude, open Customize → Connectors (Settings → Connectors in some versions), select “+ Add”, then “Add custom connector”.
- Name it emly, paste the address and continue.
- Under Authentication choose “Sign in now”, and under OAuth client “Use Claude’s published identity”. Select Add.
- In a chat, open + → Connectors and turn emly on.
On Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds the connector in Organization settings → Connectors (Add → Custom → Web), then you select Connect. Free plans allow one custom connector.
Then you sign in to emly
- emly’s sign-in opens. Sign in as the owner, with your usual second step if you use one.
- If you own more than one business, choose the one to connect.
- Read what the assistant asks to see and do, then select “Allow connection”. Reading and making changes have separate permissions. Client and booking changes are only enabled with your explicit permission.
Questions owners ask
Does emly have its own assistant?
No. emly gives ChatGPT or Claude the figures and actions you allow, and the assistant you already use writes the answers.
Who can connect?
An owner with access to the whole business. Team members can’t connect with their own accounts. If you own several businesses, you choose one when you sign in.
What does ChatGPT or Claude receive?
The business data the assistant reads from emly within the permissions you grant. The assistant provider’s privacy terms apply to the data it receives.
Can it see clinical notes or questionnaire answers?
No. Clinical notes, questionnaire answers and card details aren’t available through the connection.
Can it change bookings without me?
You choose how changes are saved. Review and approve each booking change in emly, or allow a trusted connection to save routine new bookings and moves directly. Customer-linked cancellations and changes involving deposits, memberships, gift cards or payments still require your approval.
Can it send messages to my clients?
No. Messages and campaigns are sent from emly. When a booking is saved, the client may get the usual notification, according to your settings.
Are the answers always right?
The figures come from emly’s reports, the same ones you see in emly. The assistant chooses what to read and explains it in its own words, so it can misread a question. For decisions that matter, check the report in emly.
How do I disconnect?
In emly’s settings, open the connections page and select Disconnect. Access ends at once. Changing your password ends it too.
Which tasks do I continue to do in emly?
Send messages and campaigns, complete checkout, take payments, issue refunds and manage classes or repeating bookings in emly.
