How are consumables written off?
Set consumables and default amounts for each service. At checkout, the specialist adjusts quantities and can add or remove consumables. Stock is deducted from the oldest batch first. Refunding a payment returns its consumables to stock.
Can we keep track of expiry dates?
Yes. Each batch has an expiry date, and the oldest batch is used first. The expiry report shows which batches are nearing expiry.
We have several branches.
Each branch has its own stock, its own quantities and its own stock counts. At checkout, consumables come off the stock of the branch where the service was done.
How does a stock count work?
You count the products, and the system figure can stay hidden until you finish. Every write-off keeps its reason. The barcode scanner works both during counts and at checkout.
Can we see what a service brings in after consumables?
The product and consumables profit reports show sales and margin, and the stock value report shows what everything in stock is worth.
Do consumables affect the specialist’s commission?
